REV'IT! Cargo TF 2 Jeans ~ Sale
Taking the immediately recognizable cargo pant style and making them road ready. Meet the aptly named Cargo 2 TF: a single-layer CE Class A pair of pants.
Built-in convenience The Cargo 2 TF jeans come with, you guessed it, cargo pockets. Located at the upper leg, with one large pocket on each side, you’re able to keep most – if not all – your personal items close by thanks to their generous volume and because of the more relaxed fit in that region. What also sets these pants apart from the rest is the slant of the pockets; making it easier to access with your gloves on and to follow the contours of your legs more ergonomically when on the bike.
About the construction In the design, we looked at some technical constructions (for example, the fold of the pocket) but took away the topstitching at pocket flap and replaced it with traditional 2N heavy stitched details. The pants are also made in a lighter newly developed 13.5 oz. stretch twill material giving riders a modern silhouette that’s very comfortable.

Sizing Information
We measured a sampling of these jeans of different waist sizes and lengths and find they are much like other jeans you’d buy these days. They are just a bit “vanity” sized in the waist and pretty true in the length. Across the size run, the actual measured waist was just a bit larger than the stated waist size (about 1” in the smaller sizes and about 2” in the bigger sizes which is typical vanity sizing). And of course, these are denim and may shrink just a tad too. So my overall advice would be to buy the waist size you normally wear in jeans; you’ll likely find a fit. If you aren’t sure whether your jeans are vanity sized like I’m describing, then either measure your waist where your normal jeans ride or measure your favorite pair of jeans to verify. You’ll probably find that you measure out a bit bigger than your normal jeans size and also the waist of your favorite jeans measures out an inch or two bigger than their stated size. If so, you will be on track following my advice.
The inseam lengths measured out about right as compared to the stated size, BUT there are a couple of considerations here… first, these jeans come standard with knee armor and the knees are reinforced with a layer of an abrasion resistant material. Those two features add a bit of thickness and when you sit, that means the inseam gets a bit shorter than you might expect. You’ll also want to decide if you want to roll your jeans up at the cuff or not. Many people do, so add some inseam if you want to do that. Also, there is a reflective strip on the inside seam at the bottom that only shows when the ends are rolled. So with those considerations in mind I’d recommend you buy one size longer than you normally wear. If between sizes, choose the longer.
Our Two Cents
The REV’IT! Cargo 2 TF Jeans are a tapered fit riding jean that embody the traditional cargo pants look while providing CE Level A protection for urban and commuter riders.
The Cargo 2 TF jeans are made from 13.5oz CORDURA® stretch twill and feature safety seams to keep you protected while also featuring CE Level 1 Knee protectors. There are pockets for hip armor but the SEESMART RV33 CE-level 1 Insert Hip Protectors are not included. Another included safety feature is the reflective stripe that is on the inside bottom of the pant leg that can be seen if the pants are rolled up.
From a comfort and convenience standpoint the REV’IT! Cargo 2 TF Jeans feature two back pockets, two pockets on the front and two side “cargo style” pockets on each side. The cargo pockets have been cleverly designed to be slanted so that they are easier to access while in the riding position. Both the cargo pockets and the rear pockets feature buttons to close securely. Additionally these pants feature a zipper on the front closure with a top button much like a traditional pair of jeans.
Overall if you are looking for a pair of motorcycle jeans that can pass as regular cargo pants the Cargo 2 TF Jeans from REV’IT! fit that bill, also from a feel standpoint they don’t feel that much heavier or thicker than a traditional pair of cargo pants while still providing that CE Level A protection. :: Damir 3/9/24
