Sizing Information

These gloves are consistent with the major American based brands we carry such as FirstGear, Tour Master, Joe Rocket, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

If anything, I found the gloves to be just a touch on the snug side. Certainly not so much I’d advise you to buy a size up, but if you frequently are between sizes and can’t decide, then err to the larger size.

Our Two Cents

These new Joe Rocket cafe racer gloves are rather unique in styling. The ribbed leather on the wrist area certainly has the throwback look. The leather used in the gloves is soft and of high quality.

The gauntlet length is a bit longer than most “short cuff” styles and when zipped the cuff is close to your wrist, so these will definitely be worn under a jacket sleeve. They should be compatible with most jacket styles except maybe sport race jackets that zip down tight to your wrist at the sleeve.

The padding in the palms of these gloves is a nice surprise. They are well padded both in the heel of the hand and across the base of the finger. The only pan I’d have is that the accordion leather combined with the zipper is kind of stiff, but I’m sure it will break in being leather.

So for the money, if you like this retro look, then I encourage you to try a pair of these. :: Paul, 11-18-15
