Sizing Information
These gloves fit consistently with the major American designed brands we carry such as Tour Master, Joe Rocket, FirstGear, etc, which are “normal” in fit and size. And they are a bit more roomy than some European brands such as Alpinestars and REV’IT! that typically run about a half size smaller than the American “normal” fit. Hopefully you have some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.
Our Two Cents
The Anthem 2 Stealth glove is an update to the original Anthem glove series (Stealth, Deployed, Primary and Blender). I’ve looked these new ones over carefully and there isn’t any significant difference… just VERY minor styling changes. Here is my impression from two years ago when I reviewed the 2015 version. I agreed with everything I said! Here are those comments:
These new Icon Anthem 2 Stealth gloves are super comfortable! (These gloves are the black-out version of the very similar Anthem Blender gloves which are offered with a colored graphic.) The back of the hand and the material between the fingers is stretchy and the leather used in the palm is very flexible and conforms easily to the hand. The cuff is a simple stretchy neoprene.
I often caution buyers about “minimal” gloves like this because they really don’t have much in the way of crash protection. These gloves have a bit more crash protection because of the D3O armor piece over the knuckle. It isn’t a lot but it’s better than most gloves like this. If you intend to use a glove like this with minimal protection, then this one would be a step above the majority of other gloves.
One other thing to like here is the touchscreen compatibility. You can see the threads in the index finger and thumb that work with your phone, GPS, etc, which is kind of handy. :: Paul, 03-21-17
