The NEW Helite E turtle incorporates the same iconic design as the Helite Turtle 2 with the added benefit of autonomous inflation of the wireless, electronically activated airbag.

The E turtle incorporates algorithm technology into the vest which analyses the user’s movements and automatically triggers the airbag to inflate in less an 80ms. Detection also includes loss of control and accidents where you may not separate fully from your motorbike.

Electronic System:
  • The system uses multi-sensor detection which allows a total analysis of the situation and complete 360° protection.
TURTLE Technology:
  • Our vest integrates the TURTLE technology: the airbag is located under the SAS-TEC back protector level 2. This innovation brings a very big improvement of the back protection reducing the risks of intrusion. The impact force is distributed over the entire airbag, significantly increasing energy absorption.
Wireless system:
  • The system is ready to use and also easy to use. No more need to connect yourself with the motorcycle, just press the ON/OFF button 3 times to activate the vest.
Autonomy:
  • The e-Turtle has a 25 hours autonomy which is about 1 week of use. A USB cable is supplied with the airbag system to recharge the vest (charging time about 3 hours)
Reconditioning:
  • The e-cartridge is easily and quickly replaceable by yourself in a few minutes and at low cost.
Adjustable:

Sizing Information

The fitment issue for Helite apparel products is a little different than most other motorcycle apparel. If you take a look at the Helite vest product, you’ll see that the key issue for fitment is matching your height to the recommended height range of the vest. With Helite’s apparel products where the air bag is built in, it is still important to get the right height air bag. So the first step in choosing a jacket size is to look at the size chart and see which size are recommended for your height, and secondly, see which size is OK for your max chest and belly. If you find a size that works for your height, chest and belly, you’re all set with a size choice! Those who are relatively short/stout or tall/skinny may not be able to find a size that gives the right height range and also have the chest belly be reasonable. If you have trouble finding a fit, I’d recommend buying a Helite vest and wearing it over your non-Helite riding gear.

We’ve listed the height ranges for each size below. Choose a size that works for your height and also one where your own chest and belly sizes are within a few inches of the max sizes listed below. For example, I’m 6’ with a 46” chest and a 42” belly, so I’d choose a size XL. Those with average proportions will choose the size they typically wear in men’s clothing.
