These Z1R M4 Boots offer a standard lineman boot look for motorcyclists. Laces are a great thing in boots because they give the ultimate adjustability for tightness, but they can be time consuming to use each time you put them on, but not to fear with this model! These have size zippers too, so you'll be setting those laces only once in a while.

The boots are made of real leather (many European boots aren't) so they should break in nicely. The heel and toe areas are internally reinforced and the sole is very stiff... all things you want in a good motorcycle boot. There are no other motorcycle-specific armor features though, such as side ankle armor. But that's for sissies, right? (just kidding of course).

There aren't many motorcycle boots out there that offer the cruiser look like this one does and for the money, they feel like good quality boots too.

These boots are sold in US street shoe sizes. We tried these on in the shop and found them to fit true to the stated size. The width feels like “D” or Medium.

The boots have a side zipper so they are easy to put on and take off (as compared to having to unlace and re-lace). And the laces give you adjustability for the instep and lower leg. I have fairly large ankles/calves and found the shoe strings to be one eyelet too short to go all the way to the top, so that may happen if you have thicker legs.
