The Z1R 938 gloves are a lightly insulated solid deer skin glove. These gloves are super soft and comfortable right out of the package.
I'd characterize the insulation in the gloves, as "medium" thickness. These gloves will be great for cooler weather riding. For bitter cold, you'll need something with more insulation and/or electric power, but for the spring and fall these will work great. The deer skin is amazingly soft to the touch and the insides are lined with a short pile fleecy material.
These are primarily cruiser-style gloves and the have no armor, which is kind of usual for cruiser style gear. Aside from their use on the motorcycle, I'd be happy with a pair of these for off-the-bike use too. At the price, for a quality leather glove with insulation, I think they are a heck of a deal.
These gloves have a layer of insulation in them which makes them fit about one size smaller than the other Z1R gloves we’ve seen lately. I’d advise you to buy one size larger in this glove than you normally would choose.
