We find TCX boots to be very consistent in fit from one model to the next. We checked this boot and it too is consistent with other models. To compare to other brands you may have experience with, I’d say the overall fit is somewhere between a Sidi boot which is generally a bit more narrow, and an Alpinestars boot which has a more generous width.

Our Two Cents

The TCX Infinity 3 Mid WP boots are a rugged waterproof option for touring and light off road riding.

The Infinity 3 are extremely comfortable boots, like most TCX styles. They have an Ortholite insole which offers cushion and breathability. The boots have reinforcements in the shin, ankles, heel, and toe box. The Groundtrax® rubber outsole is stiff enough to perform well on the bike and has some serious texture for grip off the bike as well. The shin cover flap secures with hook and loop and the reel dial on the side turns clockwise to tighten the “laces”. Turning the reel dial counter-clockwise about a 1/4 turn releases the “laces” and you can simply spread them apart to take the boot off. It’s a simple system that gives a secure, custom, snug fit, while also keeping the “laces” tight to the boot so they don’t hang up on anything.

The TCX Infinity 3 Mid WP boots are sure to keep you dry and comfortable on those rainy or cool rides. They should perform well off the bike as well if you like to do a little light hiking, and they look great in the green colorway especially! :: Mike, 02-24-2022
