The Bodyguard 2 might just be the perfect jacket for riders who prefer a tighter weave fabric than mesh in a high-quality summer jacket. Here we construct the chassis from Pro-Shell 100% polyester high density fabric with a polyester mesh lining, known for their durability and high abrasion resistance. Even the military use this fabric.

It is a good looking and regular-fitting item that will safeguard your rides on hot summer days and cool summer nights. You will have complete freedom of movement all while securely protected with top rated, highly flexible D3O® CE Level 2 shoulder, elbow, and protectors with a standard D3O® CE Level 1 chest protector.

We have included two front handwarmer-style pockets and two internal zippered pockets. The full-length zipper has a hook and loop toggle connection at the top and a neoprene padded Nehru collar. There’s also a zippered “duck hunter” style pocket at the lower back that’s quite rare in a warm weather jacket.

A short connection zipper allows you to combine this jacket with our textile pants or our Short Belt Jacket connector zipper which allows you to mate this jacket with a belt to your favorite riding jeans. There is also an elastic drawstring closure at the hem.

It is doubtful you can find a better protected warm weather jacket than the Bodyguard 2.

As with most any summer jacket, you might consider adding the Aquaguard shell jacket for a wind and waterproof top layer.
