This jacket’s previous generations are the epitome of affordable, capable, all-weather touring gear. And when the going gets tough, the Voltiac 3 H2O stays true to its roots. Only now it’s upgraded with PWR|Ripstop fabric on the shoulder, elbow, and forearm areas, plus an outer shell construction in 600-denier polyester that’s form-fitting and more than tough enough to withstand the elements.

Switch seasons You’ll never be caught out by the weather in the Voltiac 3 H2O. The hydratex|Sphere mesh G-liner is waterproof yet breathable. The thermal liner will keep you cozy during most seasons, while two ventilation zippers are sealed to avoid water ingress and open the full length of your chest to optimize airflow when required. Warm, cold, wind, rain, or shine, in the Voltiac you’ll adjust just fine.

MADE WITH PFAS CHEMICALS

We used a size 42 on our Fit Check Mannequin Shirley who is a standard size Large, Dress size 12. The jacket measured out correctly at 38” max chest. The cut of a longer touring style like this means the mid-torso of the jacket doesn’t taper down much at all from the chest size, but there are side waist adjusters that snug down the sides to fit well.

Sizing Tip for Those Using Upgraded Armor: Adding the optional CE level 2 back protector will take up some room in the jacket so when making your size selection I’d advise you to add 1” before making your size selection.

Cassidy here! My personal chest measurement is 33.4 and my dress size is a 6. The 36 would have been too small after I inserted the Seesoft CE-Level 2 back protector. I tried on the size 38 and it fit great with the TYPE 04 back protector. Keep in mind that REVIT is a European fit so you will more than likely want to size up. Especially, if you want to insert the Seesoft CE-Level 2 back protector. :: Cassidy, 04-26-23

Our Two Cents

I would recommend the Voltiac 3 H2O Jacket for mild to cold weather conditions. This jacket does have some vents but the permanent rain liner blocks the airflow passing through. You wouldn’t get much airflow to your body due to the non-detachable rain liner being directly behind the vents. It would be uncomfortable to ride in this jacket in the summer time.

A difference that I caught while reviewing this current model is that they did away with the adjustment velcro strap on the sides of the hips. They replaced those adjustment velcro straps with the adjustment drawcords at the hem. It does have the adjustments at the cuffs, waist, and upper arm. The jacket also has the Flexisnap at the collar. In the back of the jacket, there is a short rear zipper so you can attach the jacket to REVIT pants.

There is a night time reflective strip going across the back of the jacket. There is also reflective strips on the chest and lower arms.

It does have the SEESMART CE-level 1 Elbow armor along with the SEESMART CE-level 1 Shoulder armor. The back protector is sold separately. It is prepared to take the SEESOFT CE-Level 2 back protector. Click the link in the related products to find out what size back protector will fit in your jacket.

Overall, this is a good touring jacket for the price. Armor, waterproofing, reflective materials, etc. REVIT makes good high quality products. You can’t go wrong with choosing the Voltiac 3 H2O! :: Cassidy, 04-26-23
