The Valve H2O is our fully loaded touring jacket prepared for asphalt adventures in any season. Thanks to the combination of waterproof CORIUM+® leather on the arms and the breathable 3L CORIUM+® textile laminate on the body of the motorcycle jacket, you are always fully protected from the elements. A detachable thermal liner will keep you warm while riding in colder temperatures. And to improve your comfort level even more, we added a detachable storm collar to keep away the wind and rain from your neck.

When the temperatures start to rise while riding, you can easily direct cool air to your upper body with the help of our VCS|Aquadefence ventilation system. Just open up the flaps on the chest and secure them with the magnetic Fidlock® system. All of this can be done with one hand while riding. By opening the ventilation zippers on the back, the warm air from inside the jacket can easily escape, helping to keep your upper body at the ideal temperature.

Rain or shine, cold or warm, it doesn’t really matter. The Valve H2O motorcycle jacket will get you to your destination in comfort.

Safety seams

The stitching in motorcycle garments contributes greatly to the abrasion resistance of the total gear. This is why REV'IT! uses safety seams on garment areas at increased risk of impact. Safety seams have a visible as well as an invisible seam. This construction keeps the material of the outer shell together, even when the visible seam is thorn.

Long connection zipper

The long connection zipper is the longer, more secure choice of our two connection zipper options. It lets you zip the motorcycle jacket and motorcycle pants together as one. For comfort and for safety.

Short connection zipper

The short connection zipper is the shorter, simpler and quicker choice of our two connection zipper options. It lets you zip the motorcycle jacket and motorcycle pants together as one. For comfort and for safety.

Cuff zipper

The zipper at the cuff allows for easier entry into the sleeve and lets you wear the glove cuff under your outer shell and over your base layer.

This jacket is offered in European sizes. The normal formula to convert a European size to a US size is to subtract 10 from the European size to get the approx US chest size, and most REVIT sport jacket styles run about 1” smaller than that rule of thumb. But this style bucks that trend by running about 1/2 size (1” larger through the chest) than expected. Based on measurements, most people will choose a European size that is one size smaller than they normally choose for a snug fit, or the same size they normally wear for a roomy fit. I’d recommend choosing a size based upon your chest and belly measurements and the instructions below.

We’ve put together a chart to help you choose the best size for you. Measure both your chest and belly and choose a size that will be big enough for both. The jackets are cut more casually and so the taper from chest to waist isn’t nearly as aggressive as a sport/race jacket, so the belly size won’t be an issue for most, but I put my estimate of max belly so you can make sure. Adjusters on each side of torso at the waist line allows you to snug down the belly area by about 4” total.

Our Two Cents

The REV’IT! Valve H2O Jacket brings cruiser style and touring functionality to a hybrid leather/textile jacket that will look good just about anywhere you want to ride.

The Valve H2O uses a new CORIUM+® SMART LEATHER paired with CORIUM+® technical fabric for a perforated leather look in the sleeves and sides of the torso and lower back that is fully waterproof and windproof but still breathable. The perforations in the leather allow air to flow across an internal waterproof membrane to keep you cool on hot rides. The waterproof and windproof breathable qualities extend to the rest of the chassis of the jacket where textile takes over for a more traditional touring jacket look. The textile sections have ripstop material and feature large Fidlock Aquadefence panels on the chest that unzip and peel back to expose large mesh panels that vent directly to the interior of the jacket once the thermal liner is removed. There are two large exhaust vents on the rear shoulders to pull the air through the jacket for good airflow.

The Valve H2O comes with a removable storm collar and full sleeve thermal liner. The liner has one interior pocket and a pass through on the other side to reach the internal pocket on the main jacket. There are also stretch mesh panels at the underarms for improved flexibility and temperature regulation. The jacket also comes with CE level 2 armor at the back in the form of a SEESOFT™ back protector (heads up our inventory had the back protectors installed backwards from the factory, blue should be to the back of the jacket and black to the body. But thanks to a large zip on the top of the back protector pocket this is a very quick and easy fix!), and at the elbows and shoulders you have SEEFLEX™ armor that is somewhat flexible but still fairly stiff and rigid as you would expect from Level 2 armor. The jacket is prepared for SEESOFT™ CE-level 1 Divided Chest Protectors (sold separately, see related products below) that would insert via zippered pockets on the interior of the jacket. Just unzip and then undo the hook and loop closure above the pocket to insert the chest protectors. There are reflective strips at the chest, lower back, elbow, and the REV’IT logo on the back. Adjustments at the waist and wrist pair with stretch materials in key areas to make fit a breeze. The jacket also have both short and long connection zipper for pairing with your favorite riding pants (we suggest the matching REV’IT! Valve H2O Pants, see related products below).

This jacket has just about everything you could ask for, it really reminds me of REV’IT!’s popular Ignition series of jackets but instead of mesh they have changed it up and offered a full waterproof jacket that will perform in just about any weather and look great doing it. :: Mike, 08/08/2022
