MADE WITH PFAS CHEMICALS

We find REVIT gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The Sand 4 H2O Gloves are new for 2021. This glove includes a waterproof liner, but is uninsulated and includes breathable materials on the back of the hand to promote cool air flow. Substantial impact protection is included.

A waterproof glove that vents as well as possible for use in warmer weather is kind of rare. I say “as well as possible” because a glove with an integrated waterproof liner by design will not allow water (or air) to pass through freely, so you won’t find this style to be as “breezy” as it’s namesake, the not-waterproof Sand 4 glove but if you ride in the rain frequently, you’ll like this model.

Have a look at REVIT’s description below which gives a good rundown of specific features. Its a pretty complete list and one that compares well with serious street gloves. I really like the feel of the goat leather in the palms. They really mold well to your hands. Unless you knew, you wouldn’t think this glove was waterproof. REVIT says: The Sand 4 H2O Gloves are a waterproof variation of the off-road ready Sand 4 Gloves from REV’IT!. The gloves feature a breathable Hydratex liner to keep hands dry. This added layer of protection against water also allows the Sand 4 H2O Gloves to be ridden into cooler temperatures, creating a viable warm-to-cool weather ADV glove for spring, summer and fall. Goatskin leather forms the control side of the glove. Woven aramid fiber and 500D PWR|Shell stretch cover the back of the hand. The knuckles are protected by a molded TPR guard, and the fingers, thumb and palm receive hard TPR sliders. Double hook and loop closures at the wrist and cuff keep the rain on the outside of the glove, and REV’IT! applies extra reflective trim to increase low light visibility. Smart connect fingertips integrate with touch screen devices.
