To upgrade the original, we added airflow details like perforated, drum-dyed goatskin leather between the finger seams to help keep your hands nice and cool.

We find REVIT gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The REV’IT! Redhill gloves are a fantastic vintage styled leather glove that is great for commuter and cruiser riders that want to make a statement!

The Redhill gloves come in a variety of colors, all with a vintage flair that is sure to catch the eye. A great look to match any cruiser, cafe racer, or even a sport bike style.

The gloves are easy to get on thanks to the large pull tab and secure at the cuff with a large hook and loop closure. The palm side has a elasticated area to ease the experience for those with wider palms as well. Moving up the palm there is a suede overlay across the grip area and down the outer side of the glove to the Temperfoam® padded scaphoid protector. There is a separate suede patch on the thumb grip area as well. This suede looks great, adds durability, and is also water resistant to maximize your grip perfomance. At the tip of the index and thumb are small touchscreen compatible material that seems to work well on both Android and Apple devices here at the shop.

Between the fingers in the fourchettes you’ll find large perforated leather panels that serve as the only ventilation on the REV’IT! Redhill gloves. These perforated panels are only between the fingers and not on the outside sections of the glove, but they do flow air very well so they will help keep you cool in warmer weather. On the back of the index, middle, and ring fingers are thin padded Temperfoam® protectors and there are accordion stretch panels at the base of all four fingers and near the cuff to allow for great freedom of movement. The large knuckle protector is a single piece hard shell with a Temperfoam® knuckle protector underneath for additional protection and comfort. Comfort extends to the inside of the gloves as well thanks to a full tricot liner that is soft to the touch and helps the gloves slip on with ease.

The REV’IT! Redhill gloves are sure to bring some style to any rider’s glove collection. A good mix of solid leather and perforations will get most riders through cool to warm temperatures, but you might want a little more breathability when the temps break the century mark.
