We find REVIT gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The Monster 3 gloves from REV’IT! are a ventilated leather, summer weather riding glove that have a bit of a classic and vintage style. First of all I am a fan of the design here, kind of vintage, kind of classic cruiser, yet still super simple and just sharp looking, especially in the dark green color. Overall the Monster 3 gloves earned a CE Level 1 KP rating and provide a solid amount of protection for a short, street style glove.

Lets dive in to more detail with protection, you get a hard shell knuckle, one that is actually quite comfortable, PWR shield at the palm, Temperfoam® finger knuckles, and Temperfoam® palm sliders as well as Temperfoam® under the hard shell knuckle to ensure comfort and to provide additional impact resistance. Overall glove construction is drum-dyed, stay soft, goatskin leather, perforated drum-dyed, stay soft, goatskin leather, and semi-perforated drum-dyed, stay soft, goatskin leather. The combination of three different goatskin leathers with Pittards® sheepskin adhesive have created a glove that is very comfortable yet one that still offers good protection for a short cuff, street style glove.

Additional features include an adjustment tab at the cuff, stretch lips at the fingers and upper hand, hook and loop closure, a tricot liner, as well as grip patches at both the palm and thumb. The monster 3 gloves also feature conductive fingertips at both the index fingers as well as the thumbs. In my testing they performed well with both Android and iPhone devices.

Overall I find the Monster 3 gloves from REV’IT! to be protective, comfortable and a solid value for the money. Plus the overall style, vibe and Dark green color option have me thinking of picking up a personal pair for those times that I am out on a cruiser or more vintage style bike. :: Damir 5/9/24
