We find REVIT gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. The overall hand and finger length in this particular glove is a bit on the average-to-short side, so those with average or smaller hands and fingers will like it, but those with longer fingers may not.

Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The Massif Gloves by REVIT are primarily aimed at the off-road rider, but we also list them in our street glove department because they compare with many other gloves that are “minimalist” for summer street riding, so folks shopping for those gloves may want to have a look at this style too.

The back of the hand on this glove is covered in a rubberized overlay which is patterned after some REVIT armor products. The rubber pieces are bonded to the fabric backing to make it completely flexible, but also to gives a light layer of impact resistant armor material. The thickness of the overlay on this glove is minimal… I’d say about 1/8” at most. The palm is made of a synthetic suede material, which is very common for off-road gloves for its wear and grip properties. There is an extra layer of padding in the palm of the hand. The glove secures on the hand with a Velcro tab and a neoprene cuff, which looks really sharp and is very comfortable. :: Paul, 04-12-21

REVIT says: The short-cuffed, lightweight, well-ventilated Massif gloves (as part of the DIRT Series collection) offer optimal freedom of movement and comfort during off-road exploring on two wheels. The flexible TPR knuckle protector keeps the knuckles and fingers protected in case of a mishap. The grippy and soft Clarino fabric ensures a strong hold on the handlebars, which is then supported by silicone on the fingertips for extra hold. The rider’s hands will stay comfortable and cool thanks to a constant flow of air that can stream through the PWR|stretch mesh material on the upper side of the gloves. The comfortable neoprene cuff will make sure that no sand or water will enter the gloves during a ride on the trails.
