The Lava H2O motorcycle gloves offer ideal hand protection to get you through the colder months. They cover your basic needs while commuting and offer a balanced blend of comfort and control.

The fixed Fiberfill® liner gives you the right amount of warmth but doesn’t hinder your operation of the handlebars. Wrapping your hands in comfort is done via the high loft fur lining while 100% waterproofing comes from hydratex membrane. These motorcycle gloves contain a visor wiper included to wipe away rain drops that limit your vision on those wet days. Your hands are well protected by a comfortable TPR soft knuckle protector combined with Temperfoam® thumb protection. The palm offers double-layer protection thanks to the inclusion of Temperfoam® and PWR|Shell.

There is reflection included in these motorcycle gloves at the fingers and reflective logos on top of the hand and cuff to help you stay more visible in low-light situations. Adjustments can be made at the wrist, and the stretch material offers a comfortable city fit. You don’t have to take them off when using a touch screen because of the Connect Finger Tip fabric at the index finger and thumb.

Waterproofing:

  • Hydratex®|Z-liner
  • A waterproof layer is laminated onto a carrier to construct the REV’IT! hydratex®|Z-liner membrane. The carrier, in turn, protects the membrane against wear-and-tear damage, and the seams of the membrane are taped to ensure waterproofing. The Z- liner is constructed between the lining and the outer shell. The REV’IT! hydratex®|Z-liner membrane is used in garments that demand a high level of all-weather protection.

  • Fiberfill® consists of 100% polyester and offers excellent insulation. Fiberfill® is light so it does not weigh down garments. It is resistant to moisture and it will actually shed water rather than absorb it. Fiberfill is a manmade material and therefore anti-allergic and easy to care for.
  • High loft fur liner
  • This type of insulation mimics the natural insulation properties of animal fur, a high loft construction; containing more air then fiber; it is a type of natural insulation that traps in the heat.

MADE WITH PFAS CHEMICALS

We’ve found that some REV’IT! gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands… much like Alpinestars. This glove is not so snug that I’d recommend you buy one size larger than normal, but certainly, if you are between sizes, then choosing the larger of the two should work. Hopefully, you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based on the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help

Our Two Cents

The REV’IT! Lava H2O Gloves are an insulated waterproof glove that is ideal for cold weather riding.

The Lava H2O gloves have a fixed Fiberfill® liner. Fiberfill® is lightweight but effective at trapping heat. The liner has a fur look and is very comfortable and plush on the hand. The gloves are waterproof thanks to the Hydratex®|Z-liner.

The outer material is 600D polyester and features Temperfoam® knuckles and palm sliders. Over the top of the Temperfoam® knuckle, there is also a soft and flexible TPR knuckle. The ring and pinky fingers have reflective strips, and the REV’IT! logos on the back of the hand and the cuff are also reflective. The cuff has a single hook and loop closure. The material running down the sides of the index fingers looks and feels like synthetic suede and acts as a visor wiper if needed. The index and thumbs also have touchscreen material that seems to work well on Android devices but is hit and miss on Apple devices here at the shop.

The REV’IT! Lava H2O gloves are a great option for touring or urban riders who are looking for a waterproof winter glove with a relatively short cuff. :: Mike, 10/24/2022
