With a fixed GORE-TEX Z-liner and polar fleece lining, your hands stay warm and dry. Water-repellent and supple goatskin leather, along with strategic stretches, offer flexibility. These gloves also incorporate protective elements from our sports and racing glove collections, ensuring safety and control.

MADE WITH PFAS CHEMICALS

We find REVIT gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The REV’IT! Kodiak 2 GTX Gloves are considered a winter glove as they are both weatherproof and waterproof. These abilities are gained by the gloves featuring a GORE-TEX Z-Liner, a PrimaLoft Gold top quality insulation and a polar fleece liner. The two liners combined will keep your hands both warm and dry. In many ways the Kodiak 2 GTX is like a winter version of a full sport glove as it shares many features and resembles some of REV’IT!s sports gloves. For example the gloves feature a full gauntlet design that allows them to fully cover your wrists while providing both an upper and lower hook and loop enclosure to ensure the gloves fit nice and tight. This kind of an enclosure setup is found in most of REV’IT!s sports gloves, as are the hard TPU shell palm sliders, TPU Hard shell thumb protector as well as the hard PU Injected finger knuckles and hard shell knuckles. Speaking of the hard shell knuckles, they are padded with Temperfoam material underneath, there is also Temperforam on the thumb knuckle, at the little finger and at the palm slider. Overall materials include goatskin drum dyed leather which is complimented by some suede leather as well as some PWR Shell Stretch and Flock PU.

From a look standpoint the Kodiak 2 GTX Gloves only come in a black leather color and have a classic and timeless design, so if you are looking for some good looking gloves that have that classic motorcycle look without being loud or over the top then these might just be for you. Speaking of looks the Kodiak 2 GTX Gloves feature a reflective REV’IT! Logo on the index finger, a GOR-TEX logo on the upper wrist as well as a 3-D REV’IT! logo on the outside of the upper wrists.

From a comfort standpoint considering how heavy duty winter these gloves are they are quite comfortable with adjustments in two parts of the wrists as mentioned earlier as well as stretch featured at the upper hand and fingers. The gloves also feature a good sized pull tab, a suede leather visor wiper, grip patches at both the palm and thumb as well as a high loft fur liner and a push-pull tri-fleece liner.

The Kodiak 2 Gloves also feature conductive fingertips at both the thumb and index finger, though I will say that I found the thumb not as responsive as the index finger on my iPhone’s touch screen.

Overall the Kodiak 2 Gloves from REV’IT! feature a great combination of protection, comfort and protection from the elements, they offer a great value in the price range. Overall they are solid pick when it comes to a touring based winter glove. :: Damir 3-8-24
