The successor to the popular short-cuffed Kinetic gloves, the Kinetic 2 builds upon an already strong foundation taking this style into the future. And beyond.

Unlike the rest:

  • Immediately recognizable by their new and improved PWR|Knit panel at the back of the hand, along with the new TPR divided injected knuckle protector, the Kinetic 2 gloves are ready for the spotlight. With the right attention to the right details, they’re ready to take on the city streets. More about the PWR|Knit, we now use improved polyester yarns creating a higher tear strength and improved snag resistance.

A second, protective skin:

  • Not only exceptionally comfortable but also protective, the Kinetic 2 gloves are a recipe for success. When it comes to armoring the hands, we’ve included SEESOFT palm protection + PWR|Shield, along with a new mid panel to the Kinetic 2 gloves that is much more resistant to the abrasion and snags that can be caused by a hook-and-loop closure. This panel is then reinforced with memory foam, making is sturdier, more protective, and more comfortable for everyday wear.

Sizing Information

We find REVIT gloves run a bit on the snug side as compared to most US based brands. The fit is very similar to Alpinestars which also fit more snugly than other brands of gloves. The tendency to run small is not so noticeable that we’d advise you to buy one size larger, but if you are sometimes in between sizes, your best shot would be to choose larger. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair.

Our Two Cents

The Kinetic 2 gloves from REV’IT! are now in their second generation, and are a minimal bulk kind of glove that REV’IT! compares to a second skin. These gloves are extremely comfortable and about as close as you can get to not wearing gloves.

Primarily this is achieved with the use of PWR Knit, it is the material found on top of the hand and it spans up to the wrist and all the way through the fingers, it is protective but also stretchy and breathable. 

Jumping over to the knuckle protector, it is a divided TPR injected knuckle protector, it is extremely comfortable and soft against the knuckles and it has a very rubbery sort of squishy feel to it. If you are not a fan of bulky or hard knuckle protectors, this setup here is worth checking out. 

Up from there the cuff is all neoprene, and then flipping the glove over, the closure is neoprene as well and secures with velcro. The glove opening is stretchy but a little tight initially so the addition of the pull tab is a nice touch, and then on the inside there is a Tri-Fleece liner that is quite comfortable and moisture wicking. 

On the side of the thumb there is a panel of ottoman stretch material, again aiding in comfort and dexterity, and then the thumb as well as the rest of the bottom side of the glove gets goat skin leather to round things out, the leather also has a water resistant finish to it. In the middle of the palm there is a PU grip overlay, this will help with gripping the handle bars and also help resist wear and tear. 

At the bottom of the palm there is a Seesoft palm protector, it's a good size and covers a good amount and then connected to it is the e-touch microfiber overlay that covers the seesoft protector as well as the side of the hand and the pinky as well. There is also a muted REV’IT! Logo on the pinky. 

The kinetic 2 gloves come in 4 different colors, all black, black and white, black and red as well as grey and red. 

Sizing availability is Small to 4XL for the black colorway and small to 3XL for the other three colors. They seem to run true to size as I normally wear a size L glove for REV’IT! and the size L here fits me comfortably. 

The kinetic 2 gloves are CE 1KP rated, have touch screen compatible thumbs and index fingers  and are definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a comfortable glove with excellent dexterity. ::Damir 9/18/25
