Year-round riding means that, chances are, at some point you’ll end up riding in the rain. The Cyclone 3 H2O could be your ‘day saver.’ This ultra-lightweight rain jacket with comes with our hydratex |Lite outer shell and is 100% waterproof. It easily fits over any riding jacket in case you find yourself caught in a downpour. You can adjust it to have a more tailored fit to your body thanks to the adjustment straps on the arms and wrists.

Laminated reflection is found on the upper arms, as well as the shield logos at chest and back to make sure you are visible even in the most adverse conditions – whether that’s in the dark of the night or in a storm. Thanks to its compact profile, it folds neatly into its own carrying package for transportation when not in use.

This rain jacket is made to fit over riding gear. Generally speaking, REV’IT! gear runs a bit on the smallish side and the same goes for the rain jacket. Example: The size XL rain jacket here measures 48” max chest which is just 2” bigger than a normal size XL jacket. And in other brands of rain gear, a rain jacket would normally be at least about 4” bigger than the normal chest. So, I’d characterize the sizing of this gear to be about 1/2 size smaller than most other rain gear.

My advice then… if you ALWAYS wear one size in men’s clothing, then buy that size, but if you are sometimes between sizes, I’d advise you to buy the larger in this one.

Our Two Cents

New for Fall 2022 the REV’IT! Cyclone 3 H2O rain jacket is an update on their popular Cyclone line of rain jackets. This iteration has a new colorway, blue! The Cyclone 3 has the same adjustability at the waist, biceps, and wrists that riders love about the Cyclone line from REV’IT!. The reflectives on this version are slightly larger than we have seen previously so the rider should be even more visible in a rain storm. As always, this jacket will pack down into the included travel bag with ease and once packed it is a cylinder that measures 9 inches long and 13 inches in circumference. The main difference in the Cyclone and Nitric lines from REV’IT! are the Nitric includes an inner mesh liner, hood (on Nitric 2 but not on Nitric 3), and storage pockets (two outer and one napoleon pocket), a hook and loop belly adjuster, and a button down storm flap.
