For the days when the warm wind is blowing and you need comfortable and ventilating hand protection, the Cavern gloves are ready to go on that adventure with you.

Ventilation at hand:

  • For the short-cuffed Cavern Adventure Travel gloves, we use a combination of 3D air mesh along with microfiber, to let the air in but also to let your hands breathe with ease when on the handlebars. Perforation on the inside of the hand panels also supports the cooling efforts. And as an extra touch of fl air, debossing is found on the inside of the hand.

Soft yet safe:

  • Part of the appeal of having gloves with less rigid parts is comfort. But not at the expense of safety, of course. We use stretch between the fingers for added dexterity but also armor them. Memory foam thumb protection is included, along with a SEESOFT knuckle, middle and ring finger protection, and OrthoLite® Ultralite foam wrist and palm protection.

Sizing Information

Most REV’IT! gloves feel a bit snug as compared to other American brands we carry and these are no exception. I’d say this one runs only slightly small, so I’d advise you to choose the size you normally wear in gloves. If you are between sizes, then choose larger. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair.

Our Two Cents

The Cavern gloves from REV’IT! are considered a warm weather, highly breathable and comfortable adventure glove. I am specifically talking about the men’s version here, but keep in mind that there is a women’s version as well. 

Starting with the top side there are two main materials, e-touch microfiber as well as 3D air mesh. WIth the addition of ottoman stretch fabric covering the knuckle protector and the inside of the fingers. 

Speaking of the knuckle protector, it is nice and comfortable, and is a Seesoft 3d protector that features memory foam underneath it. There are also finger knuckle protectors that are TPR injected and the ring and middle finger get an accordion stretch panel. 

Flipping the Cavern gloves to the side, there is an overlay made out of e-touch microfiber that goes the entire length of the glove, and then at the palm it features an Ortholite Ultralite comfort foam protector, it covers quite a bit of area as it goes across the palm and continues to the side.

The main closure is a velcro strap, and there is again some Ottoman Stretch allowing you to get the fit just right, a pull tab is included to make getting in and out of the gloves easier. Inside of the gloves there is a tri-fleece liner that is comfortable and moisture wicking. 

The bottom side of the glove is all e-touch microfiber with a cool design that looks kind of like a topographic map, I like it. There are a couple of small perforations and then a second layer of e-touch microfiber in the overlay that will help with grip and with resisting wear and tear from constantly holding on to the handle bars. That overlay does continue into the thumb, and then on the other side of the thumb there is another e-touch microfiber overlay, this time featuring some memory foam for added protection. 

For sizing, the all black is available in sizes from small to 4xl and in small to 3xl for the other three coloways. The cavern gloves seem to run true to size as my usual size large for REV’IT! Gloves fits me as I would expect it to. These gloves are CE 1KP certified, have a smartphone compatible thumb and index finger and are worth checking out if you are looking for a high airflow and comfortable adventure glove. :: Damir 10/2/25
