With our Bison 2 H2O, you can wear a motorcycle-ready overshirt that matches your style. Thanks to our renowned hydratex membrane, this garment keeps the water out when you find yourself in the rain. So you can keep riding regardless. And the inner pocket ensures any documents can be stored on the dry side of the waterproof membrane.

When it comes to safety, we reinforced the polyester canvas on the shoulders and elbows to create an extremely strong and abrasion-resistant product. Furthermore, by incorporating our ultra-thin limb protectors, we kept the silhouette tailored and sharp. You can even upgrade the protection component of the Bison 2 H2O with our insert back protector.

We measured and tried on all the sizes in this overshirt and developed the size chart below to help you buy the right size. The overall fit is trim… some call it a “European” cut, which means it is close fitting and will work best for those with a trim build. For most people, you’ll find that you have to buy one size larger than you usually wear in men’s clothing. The exception would be a person with a tall, trim built who prefers the European fit.

We put a Medium and XL on our two Fit Check mannequins Huey and Dewey. We generally buy test jackets in a Medium for Huey and an XL for Dewey (41” and 45” chest respectively) assuming these jackets would fit “normally”, and were able to get them on the two mannequins, but it was a very tight fit (click the “View Larger Images” link above to see).

Our Two Cents

The REV’IT! Bison 2 H2O Overshirt is an update on their popular Bison but this version has their hydratex® lite waterproof membrane built into the shell of the jacket.

The Bison 2 continues REV’IT!’s popular overshirt offerings with a flannel type workshirt look. There are two external chest pockets and one internal zippered waterproof pocket. The overshirt closes with a full length zipper that is covered by the snaps that give it a classic button-up look. The collar buttons down as well so you don’t have to worry about it flapping around in the wind.

The shoulder and elbows of the jacket have REV’IT!’s SeeSmart™ CE level 1 armor and the back has a pocket for optional upgrade in armor (see related products below). The elbows have reflective strips for nighttime visibility. REV’IT! has really stepped their garment game up this year, this overshirt is AA rated which is very impressive for how light it feels. Most jackets on the market only pass with a single A rating.

This jacket is intended for use in cool weather with the occasional rain. If you want to wear it in hotter weather you could probably get away with buttoning it up and leaving the zipper open. This would allow wind to come in the front and exit at the vent near the top of the back. There is a short connection zipper for pairing with your favorite pant or REV’IT!’s Safeway belts (see related products below). There are also two belt loops built in for even more connection options.

The REV’IT! Bison 2 H2O Overshirt has a great look and will really appeal to the urban and commuter riders that want performance and style. Both colors look fantastic, but the Ocher is killer in person! :: Mike, 07/28/2022
