The Tekko glove from Noru is a short cuff, sport style glove that
comes in three different colors. Coming in at the sub $60 price point
these gloves are budget minded but still provide some features that are
often seen on more expensive gloves, for example, perforated cowhide
that provides abrasion resistance as well as airflow. Double layer palm
sections for added abrasion resistance, double stitched sections, as
well as thermo-set molded knuckle protectors that feature real carbon
fiber. For additional performance the Tekko gloves from Noru also
feature touchscreen compatibility that in testing worked well with both
android and iPhone as well as a silicone print overlay at the palm for
additional grip.
To aid in comfort the Tekko gloves also feature cool feel lining,
molded finger vents with mesh inserts as well as an articulated knuckle
design with Cordura stretch that helps prevent uncomfortable binding.
Each finger also has accordion panels as well as an adjustable hook and
loop enclosure to ensure proper fit. Speaking of fit, for me the size
Large, the size I normally wear, was just a tad tight, not that it
didn’t fit, but it just fit me a tad tighter than most other Large size
gloves I am used to. I would say you can get your normal size, but if
you are in between sizes go bigger.
Let’s be honest here, it’s a sub $60 glove, there are definitely
better gloves out there, more expensive materials, more and better
features and so on, but honestly for the price point you do get quite a
bit. Personally I would spend a bit more to get gloves that have things
like palm sliders and a bit more of a compact profile, but if you are
trying to stay within a certain budget, at this price point the TEkko
gloves from Noru are worth a look. ::
