We found this shirt to be fitted close to the body, which is ideal when wearing it as a base layer under a motorcycle jacket. I’d recommend you buy the size you normally wear in men’s clothing for use as a base layer. For use off the bike, or if you are between sizes, choose larger.

The 2021 Teton Merino Wool 1/4 Zip shirt is a great all purpose shirt for the motorcyclist. You can wear this garment as a base layer under your protective gear, or it can be an attractive and comfortable top to wear when you get to your destination.
The material has just a bit of thickness and is very soft on the inside. It is a blend of wool and nylon and the washing instructions call for cold wash and low temp drying. I would guess the nylon content will keep it from shrinking or being wrinkly.
As I mentioned in the sizing, this is a trim fit shirt, so no need to downsize to fit under your riding jacket. This 1/4 zip design has a bit of a collar which will work well under most motorcycle jackets and the zipper dresses it up a bit for your time off the bike. :: Paul, 03-17-21
