These 2015 Pro Street gloves are Joe Rocket's glove for those wanting something more protective and sporty than a short cuff glove, but not the heavily armored race-look glove.  These gloves DO have some features akin to a race glove, such as molded knuckle protection, also impact protection on the heel of the hand and a positive close strap at the wrist to keep the gloves on you in case you fall.  But the overall look of the gloves is very much a street look.  I see a sport touring rider or an every-day street rider liking this style.  

The leather used to make these gloves is very soft and pliable and won't require any break-in at all.  The whole inside is lined with a soft tricot material that will make them comfortable and the design of the fingers is made for comfort too... the seams of the fingers are sewn to the outside so the cut ends of the leather aren't inside the fingers to rub you.  The cuff is adjustable with the usual Velcro close tab so you'll be able to work the gloves over sleeves or you can snug them down on your arm and put the sleeve over.  It's a pretty common arrangement, but one that gives a lot of flexibility.

I like the Flexium glove... a model that is similar but has more of a sport/race look, because of the overall value.  And this glove gives the same value proposition, but in a much more subdued package.  Lots of riders will like these gloves.  ::  Paul, 11-13-14
