The Midhawk jacket from Icon is new for 2025 and is available in two colors, black, and green. In the photos I wasn't sure I would like the green but in person I actually do, the top half has a sort of reptile skin texture to it and it has an Icon logo here on the left side, the logo has levels to it with parts that are raised and parts that are embossed. Overall I think it looks good. 

Overall construction is a combination of AX Laredo, some softshell panels for added flexibility as well as 300D polyester reinforcements in the elbows and shoulders. This combination yields a CE A rating. 

In the middle of the chest there is a nicely sized reflective stripe for night time visibility and the main zipper is solid looking with a large pull tab plus an additional extension piece making it super easy to operate with or without gloves. Speaking of the main zipper it’s actually a two option zipper, you can use it normally, or you can open it up and connect it to the second AirFly zipper that will expose a large center mesh panel that will allow for excellent airflow as well as additional space and comfort. 

Speaking of airflow there are zippered vents hidden under the reflective strips on the chest and the zippers on the cuffs are two way allowing for either ease of getting in and out of the jacket or for use as additional air vents. 

Lastly on the front there are two hand warmer style pockets that have zipper closures and they are a fairly good size. 

Jumping to the back there is the same reptile skin like texture at the top featuring another icon logo, and another large reflective stripe that goes all the way across the back. Plenty of reflection on the Midhawk, happy to see that ICON included a ton of it but even happier that it was done in a way where it looks good with the overall design of the jacket. There are also elbow overlays in the same reptile skin like texture. 

On the inside the Midhawk jacket features a removable insulated vest for cold weather riding, an open mesh pocket on one side and a zippered napoleon style pocket on the other, this pocket also features Icons traditional Saint Christopher medal to keep you protected. 

Included armor is D30 Ghost Level 1 at the shoulders and the elbows as well as a D30 Viper Level 1 back protector. 

Overall fit is designed to be relaxed, ranging in sizes from small to 3XL, my usual size XL fit me as I would expect it to, so I would recommend getting your usual size in Icon gear. 

As a whole I like this jacket, it has a solid price point and a good amount of features, it looks good and is comfortable, definitely worth checking out. A few of our staff members have ridden in it and had no complaints. :: Damir 10/22/25
