These shoes fit us just about right as compared to the stated size, so I’d advise you to buy the size you normally wear. I’d estimate the width as “D” or medium. The shoes lace up, so there is a lot of adjustability for fit as long as the length is right.

Our Two Cents

The Icon Carga CE shoes are a new lace up riding shoe with casual styling and moderate protection.

Icon uses D3O inserts in the ankles combined with a stiff sole and some minor reinforcement in the toe box to give these shoes more protection than the casual style they emulate.

The upper is a combination of canvas and genuine leather (suede like finish) that has a nice look and is comfortable to wear. Overall these shoes offer a minimalist look with moderate protection, but they beat the heck out of an actual casual shoe. I would recommend these for a commuter rider looking for a shoe they can comfortably wear all day without looking too “motorcycle-y” when they are off the bike. – Mike, 7/29/2023
