Built for summer riding, the Airform™ motorcycle glove provides a refined aesthetic with sport riding performance. The chassis is comprised of Ax® Laredo, which provides both abrasion resistance and excellent hand-feel. Perforations within the Ax® Laredo increase airflow and riding comfort. The D3O® knuckle insert helps promote backhand coverage while the hook & loop cuff closure provides a secure fit. Additional Ax® Laredo palm overlays increase the lifespan of the Airform™ glove.

For your reference, these gloves fit consistently with the major American designed brands we carry such as Tour Master, Joe Rocket, FirstGear, etc, which are “normal” in fit and size. And they are a bit more roomy than some European brands such as Alpinestars and REV’IT! that typically run about a half size smaller than the American “normal” fit. Hopefully you have some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

One note specific to these gloves is that the index finger may be just slightly shorter than average (as noticed by some of our staff members while trying on the gloves).

Our Two Cents

The Icon Airform Slabtown Glove is a light weight glove that packs a ton of style, especially in the checker colorway. These gloves are meant for summer riding as they have perforation along the entire top side of the glove as well as the majority of the bottom side as well. Overall glove construction is comprised of Ax® Laredo which provides abrasion resistance while promoting excellent feel, there are additional layers of Ax® Laredo on the palm to help the gloves last longer.

The Icon Airform Slabtown Gloves also feature a touch screen compatible thumb and index finger which in testing performed will with both Android and iPhone devices.

One of the biggest protection points of the Icon Airform Slabtown gloves is the included D3O® knuckle insert which helps provide impact resistance. Overall if your primary goal is to get a glove that fits the budget and focuses on comfort, feel and dexterity while providing some protection (this glove does sacrifice protection level compared to other gloves to maintain its high level of comfort and feel) this glove is a good place to start. :: Damir 3-23-24
