These cheek pads fit the RPHA 10 and RPHA 10 Pro Helmets

* Riders will sometimes need to change the cheek pads that come installed in their helmets. Some people need a little more or less space, while others simply need to install a fresh set of pads for better comfort (and smell)
* The pads both come out and can be installed quite easily
* Use the chart below to figure out what size cheek pad you currently have based on your helmet size, and then pick a replacement set based on your need

Use this table to determine what cheek pad size you currently have:

Helmet Size Cheek Pad Size Shell Size
XS 35mm Small
Small 30mm Small
Medium 35mm Medium and Large
Large 30mm Medium and Large
XL 30mm Medium and Large
XXL 25mm Medium and Large

You can buy the same thickness of cheek pad if you like the fit of your helmet and just need a replacement set. Or you can buy a different thickness cheek pad to adjust fit as long as you buy a pad according to the table shown above. The cheek pads for the XS and Small helmets are interchangeable since those two sizes share the small helmet shell size. The cheek pads for the Medium, Large, XL and XXL helmets are also interchangeable, even though they don’t share the same shell size. HJC sometimes makes this cheek pad issue confusing, to say the least.

Changing cheek pads to change the helmet fit: To get MORE room in your helmet, you need to buy a THINNER cheek pad. To get a TIGHTER fit, you need to buy a THICKER cheek pad. Example: If you have a size Large RPHA 10 helmet, you have cheek pads that are 30mm thick. If the helmet is too tight on you, a 25mm pad would give you more room.

Please note: Very early in the manufacturing process of the RPHA 10 helmets, HJC made a change to the cheek pads and liners. At that point and from then on, all cheek pads and liners were manufactured with a red snap attachment system. If your RPHA 10 has cheek pads with a white snap, you have one of the very early models. If you wish to replace your cheek pads, you would need to purchase RPS-10 cheek pads, which are compatible with the very early RPHA 10 helmets. The red snaps are slightly smaller than the white snaps, so the replacement pads with red snaps will not attach to your helmet if it has the white snap attachment system.
