Our Two Cents

The Xplore gloves from Fly Racing are a simple winter/waterproof design made of a mix of textile materials and leather. They have a few more features than their most basic gloves and a few less than their highest end winter gloves. Like the others, these include a waterproof liner (brand name Hipora) situated between the glove’s outer shell and inner fleecy lining. And the gloves also some a layer of insulation to help with the cold. I’d characterize the level of insulation to to be “light to medium”.

The knuckles have a layer of rubberized armor over them so the protection capability is on the lighter end of things. The gloves have a Velcro close strap at the wrist to keep them on your hands and the cuff is also adjustable with a larger Velcro close tab. You can use the cuff over or under your sleeve end depending upon your jacket size/design.

For the money, these gloves seem like the’d give pretty good service. :: Paul, 09-29-17
