he Aero-Flo Air jacket is another in the newly revamped Cortech lineup. This jacket has a ton of great features that you normally would not find in a jacket at this price point.

The Aero-Flo Air jacket is a mostly mesh jacket with some textile sections in the shoulders, sides of the torso, and sleeves. The jacket comes with a full sleeve removable zip-out waterproof rain liner. This gives you the ability to wear the jacket in hot weather all the way down to cool weather with the right base layers on underneath, rain or shine! The mesh on the jacket is a moderately wide weave so it should flow plenty of air.

The front of the jacket has 4 external pockets, 2 are "napoleon" style on the chest and 2 hand warmer pockets at the belly. All the pockets use zippers to close, the chest pocket zipper pulls are exceptionally small though so they might be tricky with gloves on. The same can be said for the zipper pull at the cuff. This zipper runs up the sleeve a bit to allow easy entry and exit of the sleeve and is covered by an adjustable hook and loop cuff closure. On the right sleeve between the cuff and the elbow, there is a small waterproof pocket in the textile layer of the jacket in case you want to store something for quick access on a rainy day and don't want it to get soaked. Further up the sleeve, there is a button bicep adjuster. There are accordion stretch panels in the elbows and on the back of the jacket so the fit should be easy and comfortable. The waist of the jacket also has two hook and loop adjusters to help customize the fit.

The collar of the Aero-Flo Air jacket has a soft micro-fiber like finish that feels nice on the neck. The jacket has several reflective areas on the belly, sleeves, chest, and back so you should be very visible to other motorists. The jacket comes with SAFE-TECH CE level 2 armor in the elbows and shoulders which is somewhat flexible. The foam back pad can be upgraded to the SAFE-TECH back protector for men (see link below).

Overall the Cortech Aero-Flo Air Jacket is a great budget friendly mesh jacket option and the inclusion of the zip-out rain liner is a nice bonus you don't often see at this price point. The jacket should work for most riders in hot to cool, dry, or wet weather.

We checked the sizing of this style with our Fit Check mannequins Huey and Dewey. They are wearing size Medium and XL jackets respectively. These are their “usual” sizes and they fit just fine. We also checked the chest and belly of the other sizes and find them to fit OK too. Therefore, we recommend you choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing.

Overall, I find this model to run roomy as compared to some past Cortech jacket designs. This one fits much like a typical Tour Master jacket (Cortech’s sister brand). Those with an average to stout build will find a comfortable fit, but those with a thin build and/or those who like a snug fit will probably find the torso to fit loose.

If you want to make a size selection with your chest and belly measurements, use the chart below which lists max chest and max belly sizes for each jacket size. The measurements in the chart are a combination of the manufacturer’s size chart and also the measurements we take on the product samples. After you measure, you can choose a jacket size using the chart that will accommodate both your chest and belly.

Tall sizes are available in this jacket too. The sleeve and torso length in the tall size selections will be about 1.5” to 2” longer than with the standard size selections, so if you commonly need tall sizes in men’s clothing, you’re in luck!
