Our Two Cents

Many Alpinestars jackets and suits have pockets for installation of their Nucleon (formerly Bionic) chest protectors. If you have a jacket or suit that doesn’t have its own chest protectors built in, you can get that same protection by combining this harness with any of the compatible Alpinestars back protectors The KR-C protector comes with the harness straps and the exact same units as their Nucleon KR-Ci Chest Protector Inserts.

The harness attaches to the back protector where the shoulder straps would otherwise go and you get the full enchilada both front and rear! One size fits all (although you buy the harness that corresponds to the size back protector you need, see above). Take a look at our photo gallery to get the idea. Considering that the chest pads that are included with this harness cost $39.95, the harness itself is only $20 which in my opinion is VERY reasonable. :: Paul, 03-11-15
