REV'IT! Morgan Jacket ~ Sale
A classic silhouette with an underlying twist. That’s the Morgan jacket. The first of its kind in our Heritage collection.
Where Adventure and Heritage meet Combining features we use in one segment into another is not unknown at REV’IT!. So when we took the idea of an inner lining ventilation panel that can be opened and closed – currently used in our Offtrack (Adventure) jacket – and put it into the Morgan, it made total sense. The inside of the jacket is lined with a windstopper material, but open the custom made, lasered ventilation panels, and air can freely flow to the body. That’s also thanks to the perforated full-grain cowhide panels at the front.
Keeping it classy With a high collar, a wider-in-the-shoulders and tapered-toward-the-waist fit, and seamlessly integrated slit pockets at the sides, the Morgan jacket ticks all the boxes when it comes to being classy without shouting too loudly. Furthermore, its CE AA classification, included SEESMART elbow and shoulder protection, and safety seams help to keep you looking good and staying protected on the road.

Sizing Information
The normal formula to convert a European size to a US size is to subtract 10 from the European size to get the approx US chest size, and that works pretty well for this style.
Use the chart I put together below to choose a size that will be big enough for both your chest and belly. The jackets are cut more casually and so the taper from chest to waist isn’t nearly as aggressive as a sport/race jacket, so the belly size won’t be an issue for most, but I put my estimate of max belly in the chart so you can make sure the size you choose based on your chest measurement will be big enough for your belly as well.
Jacket Size | Max Chest | Max Belly/Waist |

Our Two Cents
The Morgan Jacket from REV’IT! is very interesting as it combines a classic leather jacket look with some unique features typically found in REV’IT!’s adventure style jackets. The first thing you will notice with it is the large amount of perforation on the front of the jacket which will help in the warmer weather, but where the adventure feature comes in is that backing the perforated section is a wind stopper material that can be zipper closed to block all the air and keep the jacket warmer in colder weather (also it does have a thermal liner as well for when it gets even colder) or you can fully unzip and tuck in included pockets the wind stopper panels to allow the perforation to fully breath, a really unique feature that will allow this jacket to go 3 seasons and possibly even 4 depending on where you live.
Overall REV’IT! calls the Morgan a slim fit jacket, but I would argue that it wasn’t overly slim, not to the level of a sport jacket, plus you do have adjustment straps at the waist if you want to tailor the fit further.
Lets talk comfort and convenience, the Morgan features slit pockets at the waist and an inner pocket plus it does feature a short connection zipper as well as jeans loops. The jacket also features a 3D mesh liner to keep the jacket comfortable as well as cuff zippers to help with jacket entry.
Overall build material is full grain soft cowhide with some polyester ripstop, and the jacket is held together with safety seams to ensure everything stays together. The Morgan achieves a CE Level AA abrasion resistance and comes with SEESMART CE-level 1 Shoulder Protectors and SEESMART CE-level 1 Elbow Protectors with an included back pocket prepared for a SEESOFT CE-level 2 Insert Back Protector. There is also a reflective label at the back to help with visibility.
Overall the Morgan is a good quality jacket with a vintage style that is further enhanced with breathability. My usual complaint about vintage style leather jackets is that they normally don’t do much in the way of ventilation, or if they do it’s all ventilation in the way of perforation but then they are not great in the colder months, the Morgan solves both problems with large amounts of perforation but with the unique wind stopper setup behind the perforation to allow you really extend the riding season both towards the warm and cold. If you are looking for a vintage style jacket id definitely recommend checking out the Morgan. It looks really good and is also quite functional overall. :: Damir 3/30/24
