Sizing Information
These gloves are consistent with the major brands we carry, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. They fit a little tighter in the palm and fingers, so if you have meaty fingers you might want to look elsewhere. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.
Our Two Cents
The Vortex Air glove from Scorpion is a perforated leather and mesh short cuff glove.
The Vortex Air has a carbon fiber knuckle. The back of the hand has perforated goatskin leather up to the fingers where it transitions with stretch panels over the finger knuckles into full mesh material. The side of the pinky and palm are reinforced and there are pads in the palm. The reinforcement on the palm and thumb has a pattern finish so you get a good grip.
The tip of the index finger and the thumb are touchscreen compatible and they seem to work well on Apple and Android devices here at the shop. The cuff of the glove uses a hook and loop closure strap over a separated portion of the cuff so it is easy to get on and secure in place.
The Scorpion Vortex Air gloves are made for warm to hot weather and should flow plenty of air while also offering good protection. :: Mike, 1/11/2022
