Sizing Information

The fit of Alpinestars gloves are very consistent from one model to the next. And overall, they fit a bit small as compared to other brands we carry such as FirstGear, Tour Master, etc. It’s not enough to recommend that you buy a larger size (especially if a snug fit is preferred) but it is noticeable enough to say that if you are sometimes between sizes, then you should probably choose the larger of the two. Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.

Our Two Cents

The Alpinestars Chrome gloves are a short cuff, mesh, and leather glove ideal for hot weather. Comfort and style are the strong points.

I like the overall feel of this glove. The palm material is a soft man-made suede material that feels nice and should wear well. The back of the hand has quite a bit of flow through mesh material so consider this glove for use in summer. The leather accents around the knuckle protector are sharp. The cuff is a bit longer than the shortest cuff designs and the side of the wrist is covered by some padding. The additional coverage may come in handy to keep the sun off your wrists if your jacket/shirt sleeves are a bit short. The gloves are secured to the hand with a Velcro tab… the non-snaggy kind of Velcro BTW, which is nice. :: Paul, 05-28-21
