Sizing Information
Most Dainese gloves we’ve carried run snug like other European brands, and this style is no exception. I would say the fit is about 1/2 size smaller than a comparable US brand such as FirstGear, Klim, or Tour Master. So choose the size you normally wear for a snug fit (especially going on) or go up one size for a more traditional fit or if you are sometimes between sizes.
Here is a sizing chart from Dainese that will help you decide as well:
Hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.
This glove is offered in sizes down to XXXS for women and youth wear.
Our Two Cents
The Dainese Impeto Gloves are a sport style gauntlet glove for street and light track riding.
The Impeto is a goatskin leather glove with reinforcement overlays in the key areas of the palm and down the side of the pinky. The back of the hand features polyurethane knuckles and padding at the finger knuckles and on the back of the hand below the hard knuckle for protection. The gauntlet cuff strap is also reinforced for additional protection in a fall.
There are some perforations at the padding protectors on the fingers and back of the hand as well as on the cuff, but other than the mesh portion of the gauntlet nothing breaths directly to the body. Overall this glove will not breathe too well so I would recommend it for cool to warm temps. The gloves have a stretch opening at the cuff to make them a little easier to get on, but they are still very tight going on before opening up past this choke point. That combined with the dual closure system means these gloves feel very secure and you don’t have to worry about them flying off in a crash. The gloves have flat seam fingers for comfort and dexterity. The index and thumb have touchscreen capable material that seems to work ok on Android and Apple devices here at the shop, but not great. You would most likely need to remove the gloves to text/input an address but they should work ok on a GPS pinch screen as long as you make sure the connectivity material is touching the screen.
The Dainese Impeto gloves are a great option for someone looking for an aggressive looking sport/street gauntlet glove that offers good protection without breaking the bank. For Dainese quality and style, I’d say these gloves are a great value. :: Mike, 09/23/2022

Another Dainese Back protector in the Nexus Jacket. Incidentally, the black/flame orange gloves are truly orange, not the floro red Dainese color which looks orange. Brian J
