The Tour Master Mid-Tex glove is a textile shell glove with "medium" insulation and a waterproof liner. The palms are synthetic leather.

The Mid-Tex fits well and is easy to own and wear. The positive points I see are the adjustable size gauntlet that will work with any size sleeve, the nice feeling synthetic leather in the palm, and also, if you are a nighttime rider, the extensive night reflective strips on the back of the hand. The inside of the glove is very comfy feeling short pile fleece materials.

The one thing to consider here is the lack of any significant protection for motorcycling. There is just a slight bit of padding over the knuckles and there is no wrist strap to secure the gloves to your hand in case you fall. For these reasons, I'd recommend this glove only for very light duty motorcycle riding (urban, scooter, etc), or other motorsports where impact and abrasion protection isn't a big issue.

Since this glove comes with a full waterproof liner and a good bit of insulation, I think they'll be comfortable for a wide range of winter activities, and the price seems very reasonable too. Consider these gloves also for all kinds of outdoor uses, not just for motorcycling too.

These gloves are consistent with the major US brands we’ve carried—Joe Rocket, Scorpion, FirstGear, etc, so hopefully you’ve had some experience with buying gloves and can choose based upon the fit of a previous pair. If you have no previous experience with glove sizing, go here for help.
