Stylmartin Rocket WP Boot

The Stylmartin Rocket WP boots are a vintage military style boot.

The Rocket WP boots have a full lace closure with a buckle secured flap at the top to secure the laces in place and get a nice firm closure at the cuff. The boots are a one time "set and forget" style thanks to the full entry zipper on the medial side. The top of that zipper is covered with a hook and loop strap as well for even more adjustability at the cuff.

The boots have a vintage look to them and are distressed slightly at the toe, heel, and the Stylmartin logo on the ankle. The soles should provide great slip resistant traction on just about any surface and they are somewhat stiff but flexible enough that walking around off the bike is comfortable. The ankles have a thin polyurethane protector on both sides. The toe box is also reinforced where the controls will come into contact.

One call out on these boots is the waterproof membrane. They have a gaiter all the way up the zippered entry, but the tongue gaiter only goes up to what would be a normal high-top height, so about 5 eyelets from the top of the boot. High enough most pants will cover it, but disappointing for a boot this tall. Especially when the side gaiter has been designed properly as this one is.
