Our Two Cents
The TX-1 glove is a bit more robust for protection and coverage than many other mesh gloves, so if you are looking for better protection for summer, this might be the one.
Like most other summer gloves, this one is a combination of materials that allow airflow. On the back of the hand is mesh and fabric material trimmed in leather that will be comfortable for warmer weather use. The palm side of the glove is mostly a man-made suede with leather trim, which is very common in this type of glove.
The knuckle has a very firm protector over it. It is a hard plastic with heavy duty mesh material covering it. The back side is padded to make it comfortable over your knuckles. The heel area of the hand is reinforced with a flexible rubber pad which will absorb some impact in case you fall.
The feature that makes this glove different than most other summer gloves is the longer cuff. The side of the wrist bone is covered and padded for a bit more protection. And many riders appreciate the coverage of the wrist for summer. Sometimes you'll have a gap between your jacket sleeve and hand which can sunburn if you aren't careful, but with a glove like this, you'll be covered!
I find the cut and overall fit of this glove to be very comfortable. I like it!
