The popular-selling Torque motorcycle jacket introduced urban riders to a unique style. A style of garment that was fully ventilated, came with a detachable hydratex|Mesh G-liner construction – you know, to keep the water out when the sun doesn’t want to come out and play – and our forged carbon print. All of those characteristics carry over into the Torque 2 H2O motorcycle jacket, but we shake things up to keep it fresh. Changes like new trimmings, interesting materials contrasts, and modern cut will already make the style a new aesthetic. We also add a wind catcher feature behind the front zipper to minimize the cold reaching the body. Adjustment points at the waist and arms let you tailor this casual sportive fit to your body should you need it. Aside from the Torque 2 H2O’s standout looks – thanks to the aforementioned and smartly integrated forged carbon print – its aggressive and angularly cut composition lets you know it means business in terms of keeping you safe and stylish. MADE WITH PFAS CHEMICALS

We tried a size Medium and an XL on our Fit Check mannequins Huey and Dewey. Those are sizes they usually wear in an “American” cut jacket. This jacket from REV’IT! fit very well. This new Torque 2 H2O jacket fits much like some of REVIT’s previous models for street and touring, and is cut a bit more relaxed than some of their more sporty styles. The relaxed cut is pretty close to what you find in other brands in the same sizes, although the overall fit is just a bit more snug than most. My overall advice would be to choose the size you normally wear in men’s clothing and when between sizes, choose the larger.

If you want to dig a little deeper and select a size based on your own measurements, then please see the chart below which shows the REV’IT!-published chest sizes for each jacket’s alpha size along with our estimate of max chest and max waist/belly. I believe our chart is more accurate and I only list their chart for reference in case you saw it elsewhere and wondered what was going on.

This particular style doesn’t taper a whole lot from chest to waist… only about 2”, so most people won’t have to worry about whether the belly area will work for them, but for those who do have an ample belly, we list the max size for each alpha size so you can make sure the size you choose will work.

Our Two Cents

The REV’IT! Torque 2 H2O jacket is an update on their previous model with the addition of a removable waterproof hydratex® G-liner.

The Torque 2 H2O clocks in at just $20 more than it’s predecessor and with the additional liner and the way the economy has been in the last year that is a pretty good deal I think. The outer shell of the jacket is almost identical to the original Torque with a few styling updates. The bulk of the jacket body is still mesh, but this version has a unique digital camo look in the mesh that REV’IT! is putting on several of their jacket models this year. The REV’IT! logo is more subdued on this version as well and the only real accents on the sleeves are the reflective strips.

The Torque 2 H2O uses SeeSmart™ CE level 1 armor in the elbows and shoulders that is extremely light weight and flexible. There is a pocket for optional back protection if you wanted to upgrade (see related products below). The jacket has adjusters at the waist, bicep, and cuff for a custom, tailored look. There are two external hand pockets on the belly, and no internal pockets in this jacket style. At the lower back REV’IT! has included 2 belt loops for quick attachment to any pant using a belt or even just attached at the belt loops of the pants.

The REV’IT! Torque 2 H2O jacket covers all the bases needed in a lightweight summer jacket, with a removable rain liner to extend the ride into slightly cooler or precipitous weather. Add a Back Protector: This jacket is made with a pocket to accept a Seesoft CE Level 2 Back Protector Insert type RV (RV refers to the shape). For sizes Small or Medium, choose size 4; for Large thru XXL, choose size 5 and for XXXL and larger choose size 6. Alternatively, we have found that the D3O Viper back protectors fit well in REV’IT! jackets for a more flexible armor option.
