The Haste H20 Jacket from REV’IT! Is brand new for Spring 2025 and is considered a casual/sport jacket. A part of REV’IT!’s ‘95 Capsule Collection this jacket like other items in the collection feature some awesome looking graphics, colors and “vintage” logos. I think, along with the majority of the MotorCycleGear.com staff, that REV’IT! Nailed it with the looks and style of this collection. Definitely cool. Overall construction on the Haste H2O is a combination of ripstop 600d, polyester stretch and a softshell 3L. This jacket obviously with H2O in its name is waterproof, but not because of a removable waterproof liner, but rather because of the built in Hydratex layer that is a part of the outer shell. Overall this jacket earns a CE AA rating.
Let’s jump to color options and sizing, available colors are Black-Red (which does feature quite a bit of off white, almost light gray, and Black-Blue (which also features some white and dark grey as well). Sizing wise, the Haste is available in size from SMall to 3XL, I typically wear a size XL in REV’IT! Jackets and a size XL here fits me like I would expect it to, so I would say this jacket runs true to size.
Lets jump into comfort and convenience, adjustments are available throughout the jacket, there are hook and loop adjusters at the cuff, at the waist and there is a draw cord adjuster on the hood, to help you get the fit exactly right. Included is a removable, full sleeve, thermal liner that goes in and out easily with a couple of buttons, and speaking of removable and buttons the hood is also attached via buttons and can be fully removed. The only gripe here is that once the hood is removed the collar can be a tad sloppy with the inner layer or the collar not being secured (the layer that covers up the hood buttons, this could have been done better had that layer perhaps snapped into the buttons that were left open by the hood). Another note on the hood is that it does not have a button that pins it to the back of the jacket like some of REV’IT!’s other hoodie style jackets. On the chest you do get one waterproof, zippered pocket, and then you get two additional hand warmer pockets that are zippered in the usual place. The main zipper closure is not waterproof, but it does feature a nice and wide pull tab that is easy to operate with gloves and gets away with not being waterproof as there is a large, offset, flap behind the zipper to keep the elements out. On the liner there is one pocket pass through on one side and then a single, zippered pocket on the other. On the jacket itself there is only one pocket on the inside and it features a single button closure. Lastly you do get a short connection zipper as well as jean loop hooks.
Lets move on to protection, there is a pocket on the back for an optional back protector, included are SEESMART CE Level 1 armor for the elbows and shoulders, but one thing to note, for a jacket that is considered a bit on the sporty side, it does not feature pockets for optional chest protection.
Overall the Haste H2O is one cool looking jacket with old school looking logos on the chest and on the back, keep in mind that the back logos are not super contrasting to the color that they are on (you will notice in some of our photos as well as videos they are a bit hard to see), and though they might look like it they are not reflective (though you do get some reflective materials on the biceps and on the pull handle on the back). The Haste H2O takes two styles from REV’IT!, think sport mesh jacket like their Control H2O and mix it with something like their casual riding hoodies, the Parabolica for example, and you get one good looking, comfortable combination. At the time of its release the Haste H2O retails for $339.99. I would say it's definitely a jacket worth checking out if you are looking for something with a casual sport style, a vintage 90’s vibe and a comfortable, regular fit. :: Damir 3/17/25
