That’s why we created the Airwave 4, an adventure sport jacket that lets you effortlessly feel the breeze against your body.

Ventilation is the name of the game If the name didn’t give it away, the Airwave 4 is all about, you guessed it, air. Specifically directing it to the body when taking on your next adventure. The combination of softshell, ripstop, PWR|Shell Mesh, and ballistic mesh, with large/visible ventilation panels leaves no mystery as to what you’re getting with this jacket. Airflow to the nth degree.

Safety first A longstanding staple in the collection, the Airwave 4 is a fan favorite within the ventilated jackets category and has a Class AA CE certification. It also includes SEESOFT elbow and shoulder protection, along with the option to add chest and back armor. Laminated reflection can also be found at the lower arms, shoulders, and back so riders are more visible in low-light situations.

REVIT’s women’s styles are sold in European sizes. We used a size 42 on our Fit Check Mannequin Shirley who is a standard size Large, Dress size 12. The jacket measured out correctly at 38” max. The waist sizes listed in REVIT’s standard chart are smaller than the actual sizes for each jacket. For example on the size 42 we used for the photo shoot on Shirley, , I measure the max waist at about 36”. Shirley has a waist of about 32” and it looks just fine on her. The jacket flares out a bit at the belt line to about 40”.

Our Two Cents

The Airwave 4 is a great mesh jacket for the summer months. You will get an excessive amount of airflow which will help you cool down in the heat. It comes with CE-Level 1 shoulder protectors and CE-Level 1 elbow protectors. The back and chest protectors will be sold separately. There will be adjustment straps at the hem and the lower arm. Inside the jacket, you will find two inner pockets. On the outside, you will find two slit pockets on the front. There are a few reflective strips. You will find those on the lower arms, shoulders, and on the back. You can pair this jacket with the Airwave Pant. The link for the pants are below.
