TCX X-Rap boots - These are comfy and waterproof and seem to be built like a tank. These were the only boots I took with me on a 3-week, 8,300 mile trip and they never let me down. Pay attention to the low height and be sure your rain gear will cover them. The fit is wide. I prefer a more narrow fit but I really like the style of these and I was able to snug them down enough for my liking. Waterproofing never let me down so long as my pants covered the top of the boot. These have been my 'everyday' riding boot for the last year and I'd buy them again if needed. Ultra Mesh Gloves - I tend to be in between sizes for gloves. I ordered a small and these don't have any give to them, so they're a bit snug. The cuff opening is also small and hard to get into, but they feel secure once on. The leather palm is very thin and there's no hard part protection anywhere. After putting some miles on with these, I'm not too comfortable wearing them for any real street riding anymore, but they are my go-to glove when teaching the MSF course. They do flow a TON of air.
