I feel that the price on this jacket was too good to pass-up, although I didn't really need another jacket that bad. The construction of this jacket is a very study heavyweight leather, which makes me feel impervious to abrasion damage in a crash. The jacket has a removable insulated liner, but not much venting so I'd recommend it for mild to cold conditions. The jacket has armor in numerous areas, which in addition to the heavy leather bolsters your confidence that it would do its job in a crash (protect you). The only criticism I have of the jacket is that the cuff of the sleeve at the wrist is quite large compared to other jackets, which makes it challenging to get the gauntlet of riding gloves over. But overall I'm quite satisfied with this jacket, very sharp looking and protective at an unbeatable price.
