I bought these pants to have a versatile all-weather pant that still offers a decent amount of protection and I wasn't disappointed. The pants have padding in the knees and hip area and are constructed from a fairly heavy duty texile fabric, which provides peace of mind in the unfortunate event of a crash. The suspenders on the pants do a good job of keeping the pants in place on your body. The pants have a removable insulated liner, which broadens their usable temperature range. Overall I'm very satisfied with these pants and find myself wearing them far more than any other pair of riding pants I've got.
