The HJC CL-Max Metallic Helmet was noisier and heavier than my Arai Quantum, but i use earplugs anyways, so no big deal. The size large is equal to the same size in Arai. I wrecked at about 35mphish and tumbled about with my bike and the helmet did it's job. I was able to ride home with bent forks, but no head trauma!
