These are my commuter boots (which is 90% of my riding). They're very classic and reserved looking boots, and I love them for that; I prefer not to walk into my office with racing boots on. The extra height on the sole is helpful for me, as I'm used to riding with street/construction boots, and the feel is similar, only better for riding. The zipper makes life easy when I get to work to change my shoes, although they look normal enough under my jeans that they could almost pass as casual dress shoes! Comfortable and practical. The only thing is, I guess I have bigger calves than normal, I definitely would not be able to tuck my pants in the boots (I can barely get the velcro on the top part as it is). If you have an athletic build, be wary... but I think this is the same with all sidi boots I've tried.
