I have used 3 pair of different riding gloves before. This has to be one of the softest gloves i have ever had on.... Protection is a bit above avg. the fit seems a big wide. I have skinny long hands. I'm guessing these gloves would be perfect for someone with wider hands. i'm keeping these and because they keep me warm when it's too cold and cool when it's hot out... i would recommend these for someone with wide or meaty hands..
