I've worn medium jackets for 40 years. Still a half dozen riding jackets in the closet, all medium (mostly Joe Rocket) and they all fit fine. THIS jacket is cut way small for a medium. My 41 inch chest feels like a chub of sausage with the medium zipped up. Ordered a large and it fits like my medium jackets (except the sleeves are a bit long). Also, the medium had a regular map/phone pocket vs. the conceal carry strap pocket (the large has the correct pocket feature, an elastic band cut to hold your favorite EDC). So my recommendation, If you are usually a middling to full medium, you should definitely order a large. The leather is real nice and supple on the large and matches the colors of the pictures (the medium was much darker brown and a bit stiffer). It is a very warm jacket. I bought it in April but I might not get to wear it until the fall. I'd say it's good up to maybe 70F. Past that it may be too warm.
