The anthem mesh pants are a great summer pants. They are sized as an overpant, so if you want to wear them over jeans, then select your normal jean size, though they run plenty large. I choose to wear them as riding pants over armored shorts, so I went down a size. My actual waist measurement is 37 below my belly, but I wear 34-36 jeans. I wear the anthem mesh pants in 32 over armored shorts, and they fit great. They have great knee armor, but there is no hip armor (hence the armored shorts). They breathe very well, and they are great for the cruising or sport touring. Because of the very baggy fit, the might catch a good deal of wind during spirited sportbike riding. But they are a great pair of pants. Choose your sizing carefully depending on how you want the pants to function (over pant vs riding pant)
