The FirstGear Kenya jacket is an unbelievable value for the commuting or adventure-touring rider. They were ahead of their time for the price-conscious but quality-driven customer when they first came out what, over 10 years ago? Pockets everywhere, venting everywhere, water-resistant everywhere, and 3-4 season wearable...and a hydration setup as well! And very cool looking too. This is ALWAYS my #1 go-to jacket when the weather turns cold or wet, and it never lets me down. Warm, layerable, dry, great zippers, and mates to matching pants...or non-matching pants! Some like the 3/4 jacket length of the Kilimanjaro (which I also owned) for adv-touring, but I preferred the shorter cut of the Kenya because the 3/4 seemed to "push up" if I wasn't actually sitting on the back part of the jacket. Seriously, I'd buy another one right now at this price if my recent purchase weren't still in such fantastic shape. I can't recommend this jacket highly enough; this is a "must buy".
