Well, I was hoping for the best because I am very hard to please when it comes to earplugs, but unfortunately these are not comfortable when wearing a helmet. Initially after insertion, they are barely noticeable as I don't feel any compression in my ear canal like foam plugs, but while sliding a helmet on pass the ears, the hard plastic end cap (see pencil pointing in pic) digs into the sides of my ear canal. Once the helmet is on all is comfortable again as long as the helmet is still, but any movement of the helmet putting pressure against the ear causes the hard plastic end cap to dig into the ear canal again. Too distracting while riding, so my search for ear plugs continues.
